We received a call from a decorator who was doing a series of reshoots and inserts for a major film.  She had a set that shot the next morning that had to match what was previously done.  There was a large geometric designed  wall to wall carpet  in black and white that had been custom made.  It was overlapping circles and consisted of about 15 different pieces in an area of about 20'x30'.  The problem was that they had the colors reversed.  Every where that was white was supposed to be black and vice versa, and it needed to be reversed within 6 hours...Not a problem right?  Well when they added that there was no more raw carpet, that is when every one else said, "It can't be done".  We reversed the pattern using only what was there in under four hours and actually made the curves smoother in the process...  Studio-Props strikes again.

We received a frantic call from a decorator on a popular television show.  The company had suddenly decided to shoot a "popular disco" exterior that night.  The decorator needed an awning temporarily built over an exterior stairway.  An arched top awning that was over twenty five feet long and followed the contour of the stairway, and it shot in less than 6 hours.  No problem.  Less than 4 hours later, the awning was in place, and even created out of the production designer's first choice of fabrics.
